When the parish of St. Paul the Apostle was established in 1923, 93 families were living here. By 1949 Monsignor James Ryan, the Presentation Sisters and the parents of the parish were ready to open a new school. Students came from as far away as Mt. Vernon. Today there are 250 children in the parish school and 94 children in the confraternity of Christian doctrine program.
